I'm having the same problem while running the actual NI example. I also added a DIO Get to it to see if the 2 waveforms are switching.

When I run it all that happens is the distance toggles between 0 and .25 when I spin it.

I have tested all of the DIO ports on the DSidecar with a limit switch and they all work.

The Encoder Lights up and all 4 of the connections have continuity. I cant recall what else we tested. Its getting a bit annoying.

The b channel is alternating 4.88V when we spin it.

It's not normally a good idea to give a programmer a drill but rules are made to be broken.
