By my math, if you went 12-11-1 in qualifying, were the 8th seed's 1st pick twice, and made it to the semis at one event you'd make the cutoff. So, not at the same level as 67 or 33, but a solid robot is definitely a requirement. (Making it to the semis could be traded for two awards or winning 5 more qualifying matches)

I'm not sure exactly where the rookie numbers start this year , but there are at least 6 teams who qualified with numbers in the higher 3000s. About 10% rookie seems par for the course.
