Brunswick Eruption is Upon US-
Hey Teams- the big day is almost here!! This is the final e-mail to prepare for Brunswick Eruption. Please take a look at the points below and be prepared for a wild day of robots and fun.
What to bring- Remind your coaches!!!
Please be sure to have the following with you-
1. SAFETY GLASSES for your team
2. both your light domes
3. a power strip
4. hangers for your coats
5. your team banners and such- duct tape may be needed to get them on the walls
6. cameras
Our SGO is sponsoring a holiday FOOD DRIVE at the event. If your team wishes to participate we and they would be very grateful.
Robot Drop Off and Registration-
Upon arrival please send a team member in the front main entrance (parking lot side) to register your team. You may bring your machine in through the front doors ( with handicap ramp available) or you can drop it off in the rear of the gym area where there is a direct access to the pits via a small stairway.
The competition- In the end we have 21 teams from 4 states..

Food and Beverages-
We will have a comprehensive food concession going throughout the day. At arrival we will have breakfast items and beverages. Lunch service will run from about 11 to 1. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day. We are prepared for 1000 diners. Sorry- all food and drinks must stay in the Commons area.
Press Coverage-
At the time of writing we will have two video crews and at least 3 newspapers covering the event. Expect to be photographed or interviewed at some point during the day. Feel free to invite any press folks you normally deal with to cover the event. We have been advertised on WMGQ radio for the past two weeks. We seek a crowd of over 1000. (Hey- I'm an optimist)
