Re: 2011 Virginia Regional @VCU

A couple more acknowledgments from 2363:

Team 75: Our partners in the effort to get a minibot working for 3625. We supplied the minibot and "launchpad". 75 did a ton of the work on the swingarm deployment mechanism. Our whole team was cheering when 3625 came out for their final qualifier carrying the minibot. We were rooting for them to score, but, alas, 'twas not to be.

Team 3168: Our only qualifying match loss happened when our minibot, Gamma Ray, was struck by something during the match hard enough to bend the probe on the travel limit switch, and deactivate the minibot. 3168 provided us with lexan, which we used to construct a "Gamma Ray Shield" protecting Gamma Ray during day two. (Also thanks to Will Weaver, whose great photos allowed me to determine which team deserved credit.)

Team 1676: During the major repair work mentioned by Matt, above, we were unable to locate some critical #10-32 nuts in our pit, due to a mislabled parts box. Our pit neighbors, team 1676, generously supplied us with those parts, which enabled us to finish our repairs and go on to compete against them in the finals. This is the very definition of gracious professionalism. 1676, you are a class act and great ambassadors for your state.
