I was interested (or still am rather) because I ended up talking to a friend on AIM a lot after I met her in this forum and in the chat room, and even though I am too busy to IM sometimes, I write e-mail to her from time to time. And I thought, wouldn't it be nice if others can do this too?

The only thing that makes people hesitate about doing this is that they haven't done this before, and don't know what to write. I know what's what happened to me at first. And its a little easier talking to people on AIM sometimes.

So, I dunno how to approach this. Maybe there are some penpal programs outside that teach people how to start. I shall research more about this. With enough people interested about this, or even just a few people writing back and forth, it just might snow ball to a bigger thing.

Mean while, thanks Nate! You got to teach me how to do that sometime.
