I agree 100 percent. The running up and down the hall in a hotel is never acceptable, regardless of time. High school students should be perfectly capable of spending time in their rooms or in hotel common areas in an appropriate manner.

When I travel for work I often have to work 12hr shifts, 12on/12off if I work 6p-6a I am going to be sleeping midday, I expect there to be more noise than there would be at night (people checking in/out). But I don't expect running and/or screaming in the halls.
