One thing that ticks me off, is that PC users are always fighting with their machines and Mac users are always praising their machine.

This is not a MAC vs Windows thread.
He did not post any relevant information to help this guy out at all. This guy obviously doesn't have any $$$ to get his computer fixed, none-the-less $1500 to buy a new one.
This guy asked how he can
fix his computer. He doesn't want to buy a new one. If I had not said anything I bet this thread would have filled up with uselss junk until this poor guy had to sort through 5+ pages of filth just to figure out how to fix his computer. It has happened before.
Mac OS is not Unix. It is
derived from Unix.
