so my last monty as a student (and last competition overall as a student) done. very sad, but the show goes on.
while monty, did not end the way i would have liked it to, especially the way we went out in the semis (long story), the event itself was fantastic as usual. the volunteers were very gracious, the event staff was helpful and they knew what they were doing. even with the field issues (we waited about 45 mins- 1hour for one of hour matches), the event was not very far off schedule, thanks to the amazing speed of the queuers (sp?) and field reset crew.
the event was great as usual, thanks to 303 and 714 for picking us, i thought our QF round was the most exciting matchup of the day, we really put on a show. a tough loss in the semis, but what can you do
i want to say congrats to 2016 who added another win to their 2011 trophy case (and beat us for the 3RD TIME in elims
) do it big at IRI and represent jersey well, i know you guys are gonna do awesome..
so thats my last monty as a student in the books, ill deff be back next year with 1089 or maybe volunteering
