Put it up in your pit, on your robot, your tool box, random walls, anything, anywhere.
You can link the QR codes to anything from a phone number to a website to just a slogan.
How cool would it be to show the judges information about your robot design by taking out your phone/pad and scanning a QR code on your robot? I think that would amaze some judges and you would get some hardware because of it.
Also, how about the community events that teams partake in? Same thing as the judges, but exchange it with your local community people.
QR codes are starting to be a "cool" thing to do and you see them every where from commercials to posters. It's an easy way to get people to interact with the information you want them to see.
I have one on the side of my truck and I have had a few compliments about it. I have it linked to my website and it looks nice.
Here's some more information about what a QR code is for some that may not know.
What is a QR code?
A QR code (short for Quick Response) is a specific matrix barcode(or two-dimensional code), readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data.
