Remote Mentors

I will be starting a rookie team this year. We are currently recruiting a great group of mentors, but only one of them is experienced (me ). In order to give students the best possible experiencing I am considering pairing our mentors with remote "shadow" mentors, who could teach the new recruits how their skills can be applied to FIRST (i.e. A remote CAD mentor teaches our CAD mentor what elements of CAD are the most important to teach the kids), and give the fresh mentors a feeling for what they are getting into. I would love some feedback on this idea, so feel free to post your thoughts.
