As far as the battery cable, you can have your own longer one (provided the gauge is right). However, that size of cable gets pretty heavy--I'd personally move the PDB closer to the battery and use lighter cable for longer runs.
ttldomination, I'm pretty sure that's the PDB behind the cRIO.

It is b/c these gearboxes don't come oriented differently for right and left side modules. You have to have a 90* rotation or I believe assemble it essentially backwards, but I have never played with them myself so the only one I'm sure of is turning one 90*.
