We had two different gear ratios, in our
drive boxes, last season: a 10:1 reduction for high-speed, and a 100:1 reduction for high-torque (I really hope I'm not wrong with these figures, that would be very embarassing...).
From the technical information about the Chiaphua motor, on page 5 of
Team Update 3, and using a conservative estimate (the lower rpm listed [4,300rpm]), in high-speed mode, we had 430rpm at the wheels (with high-torque pulling in 43 whole rotations per minute).
I ain't no mechanics expert, so if anything I am citing or calculating is wrong, please alert me to it immediately.
