Hmmm, this is a concept I haven't heard of before. My team has always taught all of our rookies some stuff, and the rookies in specific subgroups other stuff - we've never had specific levels.

If you're looking for great training information, I recommend googling it. My team, for example, has a library of presentations here. So far, it only has one item, drive trains, but we hope to expand that significantly. That particular presentation includes information about both drivetrains and physics in general, as well as mechanical components such as sprockets. I would say that it would qualify as either level 3 or level 2 information.
