Registration for Championships has opened and there are:
- 54 teams (out of 142 open slots) signed up in the first 5 minutes.
- 70 teams registered by the 12:30 mark - about half the open slots are now taken.
- 80 teams in the first hour.
At first this is progressing at the same rate as last year.
In 2010 there were 78 registered at the end of an hour vs. 80 in 2012.
Last year it took four days to fill this number (142) of Championship open slots.

Picking up a little speed in the late afternoon, open slots remaining are going fast.
There are only:

8 hours to register 142 teams, whereas last year the same number took 4 days.
The first 3 hours were just like last year, but after school let out things really took off - starting about 3:30pm EST.
