I have the
SpaceExplorer at my job, and I really find it useful/efficient when working with assemblies. I didn't find the learning curve that bad to master, as there is a built-in "tutorial" app with the driver software that you can use to learn which degree of freedom on the mouse (X, Y, Z, pitch, yaw, roll) corresponds to which DOF in the CAD software.
