The sync group parameter is a mask. Choose a unique mask (it doesn't have to have anything to do with the IDs of the jags). By including a sync group parameter, the update will not happen until the sync update broadcast is sent with the same mask set. The only reason for the sync group mask is allow for you to potentially have more than one set of actions running on different Jaguars on the same CAN bus without the sync update broadcast messages interfering.
