This may sound ridiculous and I may be reading too much into it because it says on or after, but on the FIRST WPI Think Tank webpage, it states

Perhaps they will release a game hint the day before kickoff? OR they will throw someone out from the GDC into CD to be fed to the starving hint-hunters of FRC!
