Re: Question about returning basketballs

The way I see it:

Since the opposing alliance is required to take balls from the corral immediately and then each inbounder can only hold on to two balls at a time, you could be in a situation where if you score fast enough more than six balls are scored before any are inbounded. This would mean that the inbounders MUST put some balls into play regardless of whether or not their alliance can retrieve the balls right away, leaving them possibly where robots from their opposing alliance could get to them first and score them.

This is a possibility if you can score fast enough to force this situation. With only 18 balls and the rule about carrying only up to 3 at a time, this may be extremely difficult, but it could happen!

Only hole in this logic...what if the inbounders can juggle???
