Thats only if they rely on a launching system. If they can drop the ball in, then yes they could push you out and drop it in. Easily they could score one point. Little more challenging, the two points since they can only reach 60" (their side).
Read G20 and consider where your alliance station is, you have it backwards.

And why do they have to be far away to launch?
