Hopefully, I can get in touch with the MaxBotix founder tomorrow and get a more precise answer; for now, when we talked last year about a different class (XL-AE, a more advanced model) of sensor, the range readings are generally resistant because they're constantly calibrated to avoid interference.

Since the LV model doesn't do this, I believe it might be more susceptible to interfere, but as I said, I don't have good experience with this class.

If you upgrade to the AE model, I know it's actually very easy to determine whether any interference could be occurring by getting continuous readings from the AE output.
