Re: How good is the NI Vision Assistant?

Vision Assistant is a way to investigate the features within images, and explore by hand. Compared to writing code to make the same measurements, it is way quicker, less error prone, and more likely to find a workable solution, in my experience anyway. I then write the code by hand. I don't usually script the code from the Assistant.

The example code is a good starting point for getting two parameters about the target. The vision tutorial explains how to use Save As to integrate the vision example into the robot framework.
