Very similar to our 2006 shooter that we really liked. We have since added grippy material to the rollers, and made it adjustable to pinch the ball a bit more to get more grip.
Just a tidbit: backspin will dramatically increase shot range, just ask anyone who plays airsoft and had to adjust their kick-up.

I really like your concept and I am trying to convince my team to move away from the default pitching machine to something similar to yours. Can you please share a video and/or some data on current shooting range? Can you adjust angle or only velocity? Why rollers instead of wheels?
