The CIM-U-LATOR is a Banebots product that runs a 2.7:1 spur gear reduction that inputs a RS 5xx or 7xx motor and outputs to a shaft the size of a CIM Motor 8mm with 2mm keyway with mounting holes matching those of a CIM. This allows the Banebots motor to be used with CIM compatible gearboxes with relative ease and the 2.7:1 spur gear reduction provides a similar free speed, in the case of the RS775-18 at 12v it is about 500RPM off.
Here is the curve of the
RS775-18 at 12 volts according to banebots as well as the (
RS550) which you can get a
CIM-U-LATOR that holds 2 RS550/540 as opposed to only being able to hold one RS775-18. note you will need
additional mounting hardware for two motors
