I think there are mounting screws in there--they are fairly long and I think they have blue locktite on the tip. They're in one of the bags. The gearbox can be mounted with a long shaft through a piece of aluminum; I've built a few of those mounts in my time.
But, CIMs are better than FPs for driving FRC robots. I've seen or heard of several drive-based FPs releasing smoke due to not being able to cool themselves fast enough in certain situations in the drive. FPs need to run fast to stay cool; run them at stall (say, in a pushing match) and they overheat quickly.
