I found our 40 wasn't returning to FRC competition yesterday. I was a little shaken, as I was a huge Checkmate fan the past few years. I wish I'd had the honor to work with them before the split, but, that's how it goes.
I wish the former FRC Team 40, Checkmate, the best of luck in whatever they go on to do! They were a great FRC Team, I'm sure that will carry over to whatever they've gone on to do.
Hopefully we'll see them again on the FRC field in the not-so-distant future
