Founder's Reception
A reception will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003 from 6–8PM, 8-10PM, at the home of Dean Kamen, Founder of FIRST. Four adult mentors will be allowed. Light hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

On the FIRST website it specifically states of there is a maximum of people at the workshop and the party, but nothing on the "keynote" of the kick-off.
In the past, they used to limit it, because there were no remote kick-offs. But with a big facility, and mainly only the new england teams attending, they seem to not enforce the limit.
