When I worked as a Field Service Engineer for GE Medical systems, we had access to proprietary service manuals that only we had access to. They gave us the explanation of what the error codes meant and gave suggested causes and actions to take to resolve he problem.
One of the "Suggested actions" for a particular error code said, Wait, what? I am Service! I need to call myself?
