If you are referring to the e-stop button (the USB powered button with a stop sign on it), then your answer is as follows:

Outside of competition, you should have a USB e-stop button connected to your driver station. If, for some reason, you do not have one, you can override the e-stop button by going to the diagnostics tab and double clicking the stop button indicator.

During competition, you will plug in to FMS which will automatically connect an e-stop button that is located at your designated spot.

If you are referring to enable/disable shortcuts, then the above posts are correct.
