Re: Getting 24a from 12a battery. Help?

The battery is 12 volts at ~18 amp-hours. This means it will supply (give or take depending on condition) 12 Volts at 1 amp for 18 hours. Amperage from a batter isn't really limited. The limiting factors are the voltage at which it is supplying it at and the resistance of the load you are powering.

As for your question, I think you are confusing volts and amps. -edit If it is the Festo valve, you have to wire it as per the instructions to the proper terminals on the solenoid breakout. it will get 24V from the breakout and will work fine on 12V from the battery as an input to the controller.-
