Thank you for the reply, we also did the vice to make sure that it would work. After going through different things we have also been wondering what they mean by this in the control system manual:
2) Plug the USB cable provided in the FirstTouch starter kit into the I/O module and the Classmate.
the rookie kit this year had no cable that was usb to something else.
