I think I remember the last time North Carolina had snow. It was a couple years back. Everything was closed for about a week. I think it might've been about 6 inches of snow.
Basically, anything south of Maryland doesn't get an appreciable amount of snow. That includes both Virginia and North Carolina. :-p
