Both years we won the Championship there were press releases issued saying the FRC champions went when the Championship CA winner actually went. I would agree twith Mike saying FIRST is inconsistent as to how they portray this. Moe and Daisey (CA winners those years) are both worthy teams but I fielded a lot of questions when press releases went of people saying,"But didn't your team win? Why didn't you go to the White House?" because of the confusion.

Also we were informed after we won in 2010 that we would be recieving the White House invite that year at championship. FIRST never contacted our team about it after that.

I think it's good that teams get to go but FIRST should make the distinction between Competition winners and CA winners because they are 2 different things. One is objectively decided and one subjectively decided.
