Conveyor Belt Storage

Hello All,

My team has built a conveyor belt storage system. It works well, but it seems to be incapable of achieving one important property. We are trying to get the system set up in a manner that we can run the belts while we have balls in our system.

The system we have right now is set up in a way that the balls do whatever they can to get to the top. They compress like I've never seen, they go around each other (both from the side and by way of belting).

We've spent the better part of 2 days playing around with compression and have gotten nowhere.

So now I turn to CD for words of advice. I've seen teams do it before (I think), so I'm wondering if I'm missing a trick or an essential part of the puzzle.

Thanks,
- Sunny G.
