It's a more robust version of the roughtop tread AM sells. You will need to cut it on a band saw though. We riveted this to our wheels.
If you do cut it on a band saw (assuming vertical here) I'd suggest clamping some sort of guide to the table to get a nice, straight cut.

Personally, I prefer a table saw for tread cutting, much easier to cut long straight strips out.
