Re: Bumpers vs sponsors publicity

wilson is correct. When an inspector looks at bumpers the decision that is considered is "does this design shift weight that should be considered part of the robot to the bumper system?" In the case of the picture above (and the question), that answer would seem to be yes. That is not to say that certain designs that use metal on the back of the bumper for mounting are illegal. It is simply the question that is considered.
