I've successfully powered the camera by patching into the unused pairs of an Ethernet cable near each end. It's not pretty, but if I can find some small panel-mount jacks I plan to try making an enclosure with two Ethernet jacks and four Anderson Powerpole connectors as a self-contained injector. The same device could be mounted at the other end to break out the connectors.
I've yet to test powering the ring light but will do that next.
