Either a Victor or Jaguar (speed controllers) will do. From the sounds of things, you'll want to plug a PWM cable into the speed controller and the other end into the digital side car. The number on the digital side car corresponds to which output to specify in your program. Check the FRC website under kit of parts for more information. There's a document called something like "Getting Started with the Control System". This has lots of good information.
