Hey Zach,
Most people wouldn't admit to dropping a part but we can all learn from your experience. Round parts do roll and gravity can't be ignored! Either work on a table with raised edges or work on the floor. Oh well, at least you get to take it apart and check out what's inside. What are the rivets in the case for? We are guessing they hold in the magnets. What is the guage of the armature wire?
