Something that immediately jumps out to me is that I'm going to assume RH = red high, RL = red low etc.

That's backwards, for the threshold it should be (red low, red high, green low, green high, blue low, blue high).

If your value of RH is higher than RL then I'm not sure what will happen to it. If that doesn't fix it let me know and I'll see if I can find anything else.
