Re: Your take on CAN...

CAN on the Jaguars is pretty functional. Exceptions:

1. It's a single point of failure, make sure the wiring is correct.
2. Without using the 2CAN you can overwhelm the CAN communications.
3. If the Jaguars brownout you'll end up back in the default modes and if you're tracking encoders with them you'll have a problem. So don't build a system that browns them out (I know that's a lot simpler to say than do).
4. You can detect the brownouts and thankfully the newer firmware won't lock up like it used to.
