I believe that, including the 16 containers with the human players and the 29 on top of the ramp, there are 45 total containers. With 23 containers, you can beat the opposition score with their 22 containers if you stack 12 (top one upside down or on end) and 11 laying on the field.
You want half of your tubs stacked and half on the floor to maximize your score. With an odd number, it won't make any difference because A*B = B*A. Good luck stacking more than a dozen of these bad boys.
