Not a problem CalTran:

Our shooter is feed from the bottom and moved through the shooter via a floating belt system on the back that is being powered by CIM's

We are running CIM's with chains and I am unsure of the protrusion, but that may be the gear box you are looking at.

We have omnis on one side and traction wheels on the other side. Good point about the getting t-boned as we didn't try that out but we are still able to push quite well.
