Re: nature of solenoids

The last setting you made stays until you change it or turn the robot off.
For instance, you can initialize a solenoid position in Begin and never change it. It will remain where you told it to go.

In some cases, even turning off the robot might not change anything until you send it a new order after you've powered it up again later.
Results are different if it's a single solenoid. Since they have a spring loaded home position they return to home when the robot is powered off and will start there when the robot is turned on, until ordered to move.
