Thanks Kristian,
We had two light sources we were using: a green led ring light which we tuned the camera for, and an LED Mag light that we modified to run off of a relay. It's the bright whites that you could see off the backboard (and the ceiling of the UCF arena ). It's our "Photon Cannon"

We added the Mag light to give the driver a good visual feedback of the target alignment. We always used the vision tracking in hybrid mode, but left it as option for the driver in teleop. We did not have the exact surfaces we needed to refine the tracking in our shop or gym. As a result it tended to twitch a bit. Kyle was not comfortable with that, so we came up with a hack to the Mag light. Since doing the initial mod, we have found even brighter and more compact LED lights available.
