I am curious if 1501 bot with their "piggyback" game strategy worked for them in elimination rounds? Our team has the same concept idea but didn't attempt it at West Michigan Competition. It wasn't an ideal bot combination to try for it.
But we, as an alliance did win and played a very tough alliance that did succeed in a 3-bot balance (teams 1918, 85, and 910) in 2 out of the 3 final matches. These were the only two 3-bot balances at West Michigan and the crowded loved it!!!

Yes, we had an ideal alliance for the "piggybacking" strategy (although we prefer to call it stacking.

), and it carried us all the way to a regional win. We attempt the stacking when we needed to (especially when the other alliances we were facing were trying for the tripe balancing).
I'm happy that you guys did well at West Michigan without the "piggybacking," though. From the day the build season ended and all the reveal videos came out, you were immediately a team to watch for me, because we had similar robots. I hope you all and 701 can win a regional with "piggybacking," because certainly did.
