As far as I can say towards time commitments, it got to the point that every second I spent out of our robots room could've been better spent building our robot. I even performed down at Symphony Center in Chicago on the day of a meeting and on every song that I had down time, I was in the green room on the phone with the team. I can't tell you how many meals, hours of sleeping, and pages of homework (

) I missed. I'm probably not a role model, as this load nearly killed me, though my teachers were all very patient when it came to major projects and in every other sense I'm still going strong, but I feel that with everything you can learn, the friends you can make, the fun you can have, and the fulfilling excitement you can achieve, it is the most worthwhile thing you can have as a high schooler. and I completely agree with Woodie Flowers: if you're there, you choose. Maybe robots isn't your thing, and that's ok. may you have the best of luck with what does excite you
Anyway, I'm in the midst of planning our trip to St. Louis to watch Championships, so I must bid you all adieu
