Do they work if one set is run backwards and the other is run forwards or vice verse, I have heard of problems resulting in reading two encoders at the same time in code, but I don't know much about that. We used S-6 encoders from US digital this year after off season prototyping to remedy any encoder woes, they are bulletproof and work extremely well.
