....when you get a message from someone who is CADing out the robot that says "Funny fact, a piece of lexsan that is one square yard and has one hole every half inch up and down has a total of about 4900 holes. So I guess thats why 3D CAD crashed every time I tried to draw it."

....when you also are discussing with the girlfriend of one of your classmates about how he really would love to go to prom with her, but he will be at a robotics competition, and that as a captain I would really like to have him with me...

....when you deny your own significant other a prom date, only to have him realise that you are both going to nationals anyway.

.... when you would rather miss your senior prom than miss nationals senior year.
