Here's something we started working on in January and just finally added to our robot. We had to lighten up a few other components to make weight for our “stinger” but it is functional and works well. You can also see that we can cantilever quite a bit of our robot off the edge of the bridge. In the video our 2004 robot is attempting to push our dead off-season robot up the bridge. Then our practice robot finishes the job and deploys the balance assist mechanism. We designed around the possibility of a triple balance and hope to get the chance to use our it at Championship.
