Yeah, that's very true. We were talking a lot about how at this stage in the game the question isn't going to be "can you triple or outscore a triple," the question is going to be "how
fast can you triple." If you have a dangerous, 30 second long triple balance, you really don't have much of a chance against an alliance that can triple in 10 seconds (assuming you aren't terribly outclassed in Tele-op and Hybrid).
It will definitely be interesting to see whether or not alliance selection permits the formation of alliances where a 10-15 second triple balance is both feasible and consistent. Of course, it's also dependent on whether or not the myriad of long robots have found some new way to make their balancing act easier and faster. The more robots that can make a balance happen the more and more the speed is going to matter.
I can't wait to see how this plays out.
